Can I firstly start by saying The Wheel Inn had a homely feel to it as soon as you walk through the door, greeted with a hello, then to the service the chap who took our order was extremely friendly and in my opinion scores brownie points !
And the food WOW, top marks to the chef it was certainly delicious that I recommended it to many others.
Well done guys for restoring our village pub.

We’ve just called in for a pint and some food, and I can honestly say that this one of the nicest pubs I’ve visited. It’s locally run, the food tastes amazing and is fresh and homemade. The beer garden sits along a lovely river and is accompanied by lovely wildlife. The staff are super friendly too. Absolutely amazing experience. 10/10 . The locals are also super friendly and we’ve met some lovely people along our way.

Lovely food, service & atmosphere. Have been for both lunch & dinner since they reopened under new management. Great knowledge of dietary conditions especially gluten free. As a coeliac it’s super important I can eat with confidence & they can adapt most items on the menu. Drinking only space is limited indoors over winter but looking forward to a drink in their fabulous riverside garden hopefully very soon.

Visiting family in Probus we were looking for supper before returning to our BnB. Had been recommended the restaurant by a previous AirBnB owner. Not disappointed - simple menu that shouts out fresh food cooked for you - some lovely combinations of good ingredients beautifully cooked - top marks to the team in the kitchen.
